Survival changes

Everyday Minecraft, tuned for a big persistent world where gold is money.

Handy additions

  • Bottled XPHold empty glass bottles and right-click an enchanting table to bottle 10 XP per bottle. Crouch to fill as many as you can. Throwing one gives the XP back, exactly.
  • Quick concreteRight-click a water cauldron with concrete powder to turn the whole stack into concrete. It uses one level of water.
  • Silk Touch spawnersMine a spawner with a Silk Touch pickaxe for a 50% chance to keep it. A spawner you placed yourself can always be picked up again. Nether spawners can't be taken.
  • Cheaper carpetsOne wool block makes 3 carpets.
  • Golden carrotsAlways edible, and as filling as a golden apple.

Gold is money

  • Less gold from FortuneFortune gives much less extra gold. See Loot changes.
  • No Nether goldNether gold ore doesn't generate and zombified piglins don't drop gold, so gold keeps its value.
  • More copperFortune gives a lot more Raw Copper than normal.

World rules

  • The Nether8× smaller than the overworld, with a border that lines up with the map. Beds don't explode there (you just can't sleep), and blaze spawners can't be broken.
  • Farm limitsEach chunk holds up to 24 of one animal (32 chickens, 30 villagers, 6 iron golems). Past that, breeding and spawning stop. Villagers, and named, tamed, leashed or ridden animals, are never removed.
  • RedstoneRedstone runs on a faster engine to keep the server smooth. A few contraptions that depend on exact update order may behave differently.
  • VillagersTrades have limited stock and personal limits. See Villager trading.
  • Respawn anchorsDisabled: can't be crafted, placed or charged.
Every recipe that's different is listed: changed recipes, new recipes, wood stonecutting and disabled items.
