Brewing

Brew real drinks: beer, wine, whiskey, vodka and more. Work out each recipe by trial and error: the closer you get, the better the drink. Drink too much and you'll feel it.

  1. 1
    Heat a cauldron

Fill a cauldron with water and put a heat source under it: fire, lava, a campfire or magma.

  2. 2
    Add ingredients

Right-click the cauldron with each ingredient. The amounts matter.

  3. 3
    Cook

Let it cook, then take the brew out with glass bottles, 3 per cauldron. Cooking time matters too.

  4. 4
    Distil (some drinks)

Put the brew in a brewing stand with glowstone dust on top. Each run makes it stronger.

  5. 5
    Age (some drinks)

Leave it in a barrel. A normal barrel counts as any wood. Some drinks prefer a certain wood, so you can also build a barrel from it: 8 wooden stairs in a 2×2×2 cube with a sign on the front that says Barrel. Aging happens in real time.

Recipes

You know what goes in. How much of each, how long to cook it, whether to distil it and how long to age it (and in which wood) is up to you to work out. Experiment: a close guess makes a drinkable brew, the right one makes a fine one.
