Item lore
Tools, weapons and armour remember their story: who made them, where, who signed them and whose death they dropped from. Spend a lore token on one to choose what it shows, count its kills, and write its name and lore yourself.
What items remember
- Which itemsTools, weapons and armour: swords, axes, pickaxes, shovels, hoes, spears, maces, tridents, bows and crossbows, armour, shields, elytra, fishing rods, shears and the like. Custom items like the Excavator, Replanter, Deforester and Wrench keep their own lore.
- ✥ Created byThe player who crafted it.
- ✥ Forged inThe town and nation it was crafted in, shown as [Town • Nation].
- ✥ Created onThe date it was crafted, on the server's calendar. Hidden unless the item is lored and the line is switched on.
- ✥ Signed byWhoever signed it with
/lore sign. Anyone can sign any of these items; no lore token needed. - ✥ Dropped byThe first player who died with it in the wilderness, killed by another player. It never changes after that.
- ✥ Foes slainHow many players were killed with it. Only lored items count kills, from the moment the lore token is spent.
- Without a lore tokenAn item shows Created by, Forged in and Dropped by, plus Signed by once someone signs it. The other lines need a lore token.
- Selling in shopsCrafting several at once (shift-click) stamps every item, not just the first. Chest shops ignore the Created by and Forged in stamp, so tools and armour made by anyone, on any day, sell in the same shop. Items with a lore token, a signature or a kill count are one of a kind and only match themselves.
